The Foundation prioritizes the improvement of the corporate governance system of both the organization and is affiliates, linking with it the long-term sustainable development of the Foundation and its ability to overcome the challenges of the time.
The Board of Trustees is the supreme governing body of the Foundation. It carries out the strategic management and supervision of the current activities of the Foundation.
The daily activities of the Foundation are managed by the Director.
The Corporate Secretary assists the Board of Trustees in the implementation of its functions. His/her functions include improvement of the corporate governance practices, ensuring the proper functioning of the Board of Trustees, keeping and disclosing corporate information, and ensuring relationships with key stakeholders.
The Board of Trustees has formed an Internal Control Task Group to improve the Foundation's internal control and risk management system. The Internal Control Task Group is accountable to the Board of Trustees.
The Foundation and its affiliates are among the unique Armenian organizations that have joined the Business Integrity Club function in Armenia.
Adhering to the principles of the Anti-Corruption Declaration and joining the Business Integrity Club, the Foundation, together with its affiliates, reaffirms its commitment to be guided by the principles of business integrity, as well as to develop a transparent, responsible, and accountable management system. By joining the membership of the Club, the Foundation has embarked on the task of improving the corporate governance system of the organization and its affiliates, contributing to the improvement of the business environment in Armenia and promoting the country’s economic progress.
The Club is established by the Corporate Governance Center within the framework of the “Armenia: Empowering the Private Sector to Support Democratic Transition” grant project funded by the US Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE).
