A new level of cooperation will be achieved between the RA Ministry of Agriculture and CARD Foundation through the MoU, signed between the parties. On February 8, the RA Minister of Agriculture Mr. Ignati Arakelyan and CARD Foundation director Mr. Gagik Sardaryan signed a Memorandum of Understanding, aimed at the quality improvement of the vaccination activities, implemented by the “Veterinary-Sanitary and Phyto-Sanitary Service Center” SNCO, as well as increase of awareness among stock-breeding farms. 

CARD Foundation hosted a delegation from Ajaria, headed by the director of the Agroservice Center, Mr. Gocha Beridze, representatives of the Center, as well as several veterinarians.

The Center for Agribusiness and Rural Development (CARD) Foundation established a Farm and Veterinary Service Center in Yeghegnadzor community of Vayots Dzor province, in cooperation with WWF and with direct participation of the Ministry of Nature Protection, with financial support from German Government within the frameworks of “Establishment of Community-based Models for Biodiversity Protection in Ecological Corridors in the Southern Caucasus (Armenia)” project.

Within the frames of the “Animal Health Management (AHM) in Armenia and Georgia: Phase II” project, funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), CARD Foundation hosted Dr. Tjeerd Jorna, former president of the “World Veterinary Association”, and Mr. Jan Varteen, secretary of the “European Veterinary Association”.

On May 24 Mr. Eliyahu Yerushalmi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to the Republic of Armenia paid a cognitive visit to CARD Foundation.
