AI&R Project Final Evaluation Meeting
On December 23, 2025, the presentation of the final results of the Animal Identification and Registration Project (AI&R) was held at the CARD Foundation, led by the Deputy Minister of Economy of the RA, Ms. Tatevik Sargsyan, and the Deputy Head of the Yerevan Office of the Austrian Development Agency, Ms. Nola Alanakyan.
It is an important tool for both summarizing achievements and planning future steps in a more targeted manner. The AI&R project was entirely aimed at supporting the national Animal Identification and Registration project coordinated by the Government of the Republic of Armenia, in particular the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, to ensure its continuity and sustainability.
The meeting was also attended by Vahe Sargsyan, Program Manager of the Yerevan Office of the Austrian Development Agency, Garnik Hovhannisyan, Director of the "Center for Agricultural Services" SNCO, representatives of the RA Ministry of Economy, RA Food Safety Inspection Body, "Ampera" organization, Armenian National Agrarian University, and CARD Foundation.
It should be emphasized that the Austrian Development Agency and the CARD Foundation have recently entered into a new project agreement, serving as a logical continuation of the preceding program.
