VETERINARIANS ACTING UNDER A SINGLE UMBRELLA/SHARING A HEALTHY FUTURE

Within the frames of the ADA funded “Animal Health Management in Armenia and Georgia, Phase II” project, CARD Foundation initiated the first meeting on the “National Veterinary Association” establishment with the support of the “Strategic Development Agency”. More than 30 veterinarians from all the regions were present to share their impressions on the initiative, the issues they face and hope to solve through the association.

 

One of the top vegetable breeding companies in the world, Rijk Zwaan initiated a training course, together with CARD Agroservice CJSC, on the greenhouse crops, particularly tomatoes cultivation technology.

FOSTERING COLLABORATION WITH GEORGIAN COLLEAGUES/DELAVAL HELPS TO IMPROVE THE OVERALL QUALITY OF LIFE

Within the frames of the “Animal Health Management in Armenia and Georgia, phase 2” project, financed by the Austrian Development Agency, CARD Foundation hosted a delegation from Georgia. Farmers and veterinarians visited Armenia to participate at the theoretical and practical trainings in the field of veterinary services and artificial insemination of pigs.

Worldwide leader in milking equipment and solutions for dairy farmers Delaval company provides integrated solutions designed to improve dairy producers’ production, animal welfare and overall quality of life. The Northeastern regional director Mr. Stanislav Ostanin and the Caucasus regional director Mr. Oleg Pavlov recently visited Armenia and Georgia.

Even the biggest results have a small start

and Georgia, Phase II” project, 11 participants from Armenia and Georgia
were provided with a unique opportunity to visit Austria for the purpose of
experience exchange and knowledge transfer.
